Richard A. “Rick” Simon
In addition to being the owner of Morgan Arts Complex,
Richard A. “Rick” Simon is President and Chief Executive
Officer of United Service Companies, a Chicago-based
organization with businesses serving the maintenance,
staffing, aviation, security, and trade show industries.
Rick has been with United Service Companies since its
founding in 1965 and became President and CEO in 1985.
Under his leadership, the organization expanded from a
small collection of Chicago accounts to thousands of
accounts across the United States.
United National Maintenance has also grown into one of
the country's largest cleaning contractors serving
conventions and special events.
Rick has remained actively involved in Chicago's business,
hospitality, tourism, and civic communities. His board
involvement has included organizations such as The
Magnificent Mile Association, Gateway Green, the Chicago
Police Foundation, the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation,
and the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association.
He has also been involved with organizations serving the
exhibitions and events industry, including the International
Association of Exhibitions & Events, the Society of
Independent Show Organizers, and the Exhibition Service
Contractors Association.
Throughout his career, Rick has been recognized by industry
peers for his leadership and influence within the trade
show and events industry.
